Disc Golf Course

Disc golf is a flying disc sport in which players throw a disc at a target; it is played using rules similar to golf.  SIC is a member of the PDGA.  The PDGA is the professional association for all disc golfers and the source for disc golf courses, tournament results, and the official rules of disc golf.

About the course

This course is one of the few true 18 hole courses in the region. It is free and open to the community. The unique layout plays over mostly flat terrain with wooded areas, water hazards, tight tunnels through trees and even a par 5 spanning 651'.

Directions

From Mt. Vernon: Take IL-142 S for 24 miles to McLeansboro. Turn right on Washington St. and go 0.3 miles to a left on Randolph St. followed by a right onto Jackson St. / IL-142 S. Go 19.5 miles to a left on State St. Go 1.2 miles to a right onto 1450 E / College Rd. The college is on the left in 3.8 miles. Turn left into the South Entrance and stay to the right all the way down to the last parking lot near basket #18 beside a pond.
