Jeanne Clery Disclosure
Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. This Act requires requires colleges and universities across the United States to disclose information about crime on and around their campuses. They must provide information to the public regarding campus safety and security policies, procedures and statistics.
Jeanne Clery Act-Full
Requirements:
- Publish an Annual Security Report (ASR)
Crime Statistics 2012
- Have a public crime log
Available upon request in the Office of the Dean for Student Services and Enrollment, Room E 129. - Issue timely warnings about Clery Act crimes which pose a serious or ongoing threat to students and employees.
Timely Warning Policy
- Disclose crime statistics for incidents that occur on campus, in unobstructed public areas immediately adjacent to or running through the campus and at certain non-campus facilities.
Security Report Information
- Devise an emergency response, notification and testing policy.
Campus Emergency Operations Plan
- Compile and report fire data to the federal government and publish an annual fire safety report.
