Jack Trosper
Basketball (M) Assistant Coach
Jack Trosper begins his first year at Southeastern Illinois as the assistant coach for men’s basketball. Previously, Trosper worked as a student assistant to the men’s basketball program at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (2005 – 2008). He was responsible for creating and editing game preparation films, managing travel equipment, assisting with drills and walk-throughs, and computing team statistics. During 2008 – 2010, Trosper served as the intramural supervisor. He created and organized game schedules for multiple sports and managed a staff of over 20 officials.
During 2009 – 2010, Trosper was the volunteer assistant coach for basketball at Flour Bluff High School while completing his student-teaching assignment. Duties included organizing practices for the freshman, JV, and Varsity teams and working as the assistant at JV and Varsity games. In 2010 – 2011, Trosper was the assistant varsity basketball coach at Madisonville High School. During 2011-2012, he was the assistant basketball coach at Eastern New Mexico University.
Jack earned his Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology and mathematics at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. He holds teacher certification in physical education (EC-12).
