The Career Center is available to assist you in your career decision making! There are a range of activities available, including:
CAREER COUNSELING: A Career Counselor is available to assist you by helping you learn more about your interests, occupations, related education and training. Assistance in writing a resume, preparing for interviews or researching occupational information is also available.
COMPUTERIZED CAREER GUIDANCE SYSTEMS: The Discovery computerized career guidance systems can help students identify and learn about occupations that match personal interests and needs. These systems also include additional information on several hundred job descriptions, related educational majors and colleges.
CAREER INFORMATION RESOURCES: Reference books, videos and other materials on a variety of occupations are available for you to use in the Career Center. A collection of Illinois and out-of-state college catalogs is also available to read. A variety of magazines on career planning are available for you as well.
ON-LINE INTEREST CAPABILITIES: Many websites are available to assist with career information regarding job listings, occupational information, scholarships, grants, awards, financial aid information and college and university information.
WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS: Throughout the year, career planning seminars, job search workshops and various career programs will be held for anyone who would like to attend.

It is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
