What other positions have you held prior to SIC?

Associate Account Manager at Guthrie/Mayes Public Relations in Louisville

What is your favorite memory at SIC?

My favorite memories at SIC are from my days as a student.  I so enjoyed being a part of the Forensic Falcons and getting to travel to San Francisco to participate (and place) at the national tournament.  That was a big first for me.  Another big first was landing my first role in a real theatre production – “Lend me a Tenor,” which was a dinner theatre held at Smuggler’s Restaurant and directed by our current President Dr. Jonah Rice (known then as Jody).

What does SIC mean to you?

SIC means success.  It means new opportunities and preparing for the future.  It means better jobs.  It means making new friends and seeing old friends – good people.  In a world of crazy, it feels safe, like family.  It’s a place where you never stop learning.

What do you do in your spare time?

Kayak with my mom, and spend time with my children.

Where’s your favorite vacation spot?

Right now it’s anywhere along Current, Jack’s Fork or Eleven Points rivers, and especially the beautiful Big Spring along the Current River.

If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be?

I would like to have dinner with and sing “9 to 5” with Dolly Parton!

How would you spend $1 million?

If I had $1 million, I’d pay off my house and car, go to Australia and scuba along the Great Barrier Reef, help out my family, provide for church missions and Only Believe Ministries, set up a trust for my kids, and invest for future trips and retirement.  Boy that million went fast!

What is the best piece of advice you have ever heard?

Treat others like you want to be treated.
