I was a Retail Store Manager and Clothing/Merchandise buyer in the Western Wear industry for 8 years.  I was also a Sales Rep for a Giftware Company, and a Sales Rep for Waste Water Treatment Plant Chemicals.

What does SIC means to you?
SIC means so much to so many people. I know that this community is so fortunate to have such a wonderful place at its fingertips.  From the time that I stepped through the doors on my first day, I have felt at home at SIC. To me, SIC means a continuation of family to its students and to its staff. Everyone here works so well together and is here for the same reason, and that is the students. There are so many wonderful people, services & educational opportunities at SIC, and I am so proud that I can be a small part of the SIC students’ future and dreams.

What do you do in your spare time?
I love spending time with my husband, two 4-year-old sons, and my whole family in general. I love being outdoors, camping, decorating & making crafts, fishing, riding 4-wheelers, boating, reading and watching movies, just to name a few.

Where is your favorite vacation spot?
Anywhere tropical!

In the movie based on your life, who plays you?
Sandra Bullock

If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be?
I know that this question is answered a lot with grandparents, but I would have to say grandmother as well. I learned so many life lessons and valuable advice from my grandmother. I would love to have one more dinner to ask her some of things that I never was able to ask.

What's the best piece of advice you've been given?

  • The best things in life are not things.
  • Live today like there is no tomorrow.
