The SIC Forensic Falcons
Forensic Falcons compete in public speaking, oral interpretation, and readers theater. Although high school forensic experience helps, SIC coaches work closely with novice competitors.
The team consistently places in the top 10 at Phi Rho Pi (the national community college speech championship). The Forensic Falcons won the national title in 1986, 1997and 2005 and placed second in 1996, 1998, 2000, 2003, 2004, 2007 and 2008. Third place finishes include 1987, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1994, 1995 and 2001. The Falcons placed fourth in 2006.
