Madeline Rogers

Eldorado native, Madeline Rogers, performs works by Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin and Debussy.

The Southeastern Illinois Cultural Arts Series has been bringing quality cultural experiences to Southern Illinois since 1979.  Performances range from musical groups and theatrical shows to dance groups and authors. 

We are proud of the fact that we have kept ticket prices low in keeping with our motto “Great Shows! Great Value! Close to Home!”  General admission is still just $10 for adults, $5 for students.  A family season ticket costs $70 (parents and children) or $40 for one adult.  

We also offer levels of giving for those willing to help subsidize our programs: $100 sponsors receive three season tickets; $150 patrons, four season tickets.  
Season tickets may be purchased at the first concert or ordered by mail.  For additional information, please call 618-252-5400, ext. 2486 or 618-841-4649.

Jim Manley Coffee Concert


Sunday, September 16 at 2 p.m. in the Theatre Lower Lobby
Jim Manley, brass master, is a well-known St Louis musician, composer, arranger and clinician.  He has played trumpet and flugelhorn in many ensembles around St Louis since the 1970's. He has prepared a sampling of repertoire from the several of the best 20th century jazz trumpet masters - from "Satchmo" to Maynard Ferguson, and many in between.  Easy swing, mellow sounds, favorite melodies, stylistic examples from the Great American Songbook of Standards.  Jim will be accompanied by guitarist Randy Baer and pianist Jim Smith.

Sunday, October 7 at 2 p.m. in the Theatre Lower Lobby
Nashville-based classical guitarists Robert Thompson and Joey Butler (a native of Eldorado) merged their love of Latin music and classical guitar with an extensive knowledge of Latin rhythms to form a guitar duo specializing in composers from South America.
