The Workforce & Illinois Small Business Development Center has teamed up with the Douglas C. Green Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Southeast Missouri State University to offer an in depth entrepreneurship program for students and business owners in the region. The program, called Operation JumpStart, is offered throughout the year at various times. It is open to small business owners and those interested in starting a business. It's an award-winning microenterprise development program that partners with organizations seeking to assist aspiring entrepreneurs. It combines nationally-recognized curriculum developed by the Kauffman Foundation with rich online resources, practical, hands-on learning activities and a variety of experiential learning opportunities to build entrepreneurial communities of opportunities.
