Rod Wallace is a 1980 graduate of Galatia High School located in Galatia, Illinois.  He played basketball for the Galatia Bearcats.  He served as the Junior Varsity basketball Coach for one year (1998-1999) at Galatia before he served as the Head Varsity Boys’ Basketball Coach from July, 1999 to December, 2007.  During his tenure at Galatia, the Junior Varsity team record was 14-2, and his overall Varsity record was 111-103.  Under the direction of Rod and Chris Wallace, Galatia had its’ best season ever with a 26-2 record and won its’ first ever GEC conference tournament.  Coach Wallace resides in Harrisburg, Illinois.
