Jaime Malave

Jaime Malave earned All-Region, All-American, and Rookie of the Year honors while playing baseball at Southeastern during the 1993-1995 seasons.  He then went on to AAA and AA play with the Mets, Expos, and Dodgers, for a total of nine years in professional baseball.

Malave, originally a native of Puerto Rico, came to Southeastern after his family moved to Florida.  Jaime, who played baseball for the Yakima Bears in Prosser, Washington, returned to Prosser after retiring from baseball.  He now manages a Big 5 sporting goods store in Prosser, Washington.
