Online Student Orientation
Are you new to online or hybrid classes, or just need a refresher?
(We suggest that you bookmark this page so it's easy to find.)
- Your Username is your SIC ID number
- Your initial Password will be the last 4 digits of your SSN
The first time you log in, you will be required to change your password. For simplicity, we recommend using the same password for online classes that you use for your MySIC and Falcon Mail accounts. Just make sure it is something you can remember!
We put all online students into a group practice course, "OSO - Online Student Orientation" so you can learn to navigate the online learning environment. It will appear in the section titled "Community Groups" after you have logged into ANGEL. Make sure you check it out. Click the Course Content tab to learn about the different parts of your online course and how they work. This practice course contains lots of great information, including videos, to help you learn how to effectively participate in your online course. To just watch the videos, click: here
Do you need personal help learning how to navigate your online class? Join us for one of our face-to-face orientation sessions the first week of each semester!
