If you love the outdoors and want to train for employment at a commercial or private hunting or shooting operation, Southeastern is the place to start! You'll not find other programs like the Game Preserve Management and Shooting Complex Management degrees anywhere in the country.
Students admitted to the program receive instruction in all phases of range and preserve management. Special emphasis is placed on the practical application of the curriculum and students alternate time between the classroom and the field by participating in shooting competitions across the country.
Time is also spent serving as referees at such events as:
- Browning/Briley World Open
- National Sporting Clays Championship
- Texas State Championship
Field work allows for ample opportunity to network for employment. A one-year internship, which is required to graduate, rounds out one of the most unique programs in the nation!
